I have been saying this for some time.

By allowing them to define the terms, fiscal conservatives/conservatives/Republicans are hamstrung.  Think "Animal Farm" here. 

By calling them "Progressive", it automatically implies that conservatives are "regressive", or "anti-progress".

As if having unlimited social programs/entitlements is "progress".  LOL.
