I dont understand the point of visiting graves, the person you knew isnt there, its a dead body, the person you knew is always with you in your thoughts.

Disagree, i lost my dad in 2002, been to the grave twice, its pointless, I think about him every day, I can see him laughing and joking and can even talk to him like I used to, I dont need to sit in a graveyard full of other dead people to do that.

Welcome him. At this point it looks like this won't happen for quite a long time. At 72, with a totally clean bill of health and feeling as good as ever, I'm looking forward to being around for sometime. However, when my time comes, I expect to be prepared and not resist. I have no fear of an unknown afterlife, should there be one. Don't believe in heaven or hell. Reincarnation works for me.
