Thank you for the information about these folks. I recently learned a lot of this, because prior to my previous response to you I researched each of them. I use Twitter, to read individuals political opinions and to follow some folks, such as Niall Harbison who rescues and rehabs dogs in Thailand and then finds homes for them all over the world.
What is real Covid stuff? It is not like Covid has been around long enough for anyone to completely understand the virus, including how to prevent and treat it. Maybe we'll better understand some of those nuisances in 20 years. Preventions and treatment are still in the discovery stage. The last time I had Covid, Paxlovid had only recently been approved and made available on the U.S. market. Under my doctor’s advice, I took a chance on it. Whether it helped prevent more serious symptoms, I have no idea since I have never experienced serious symptoms even though I am in the higher risk category, primarily due to my 'old' age, and also because I am mildly asthmatic.
When I mean "real" Covid stuff, it was the stuff that was considered "misinformation" and considered conspiracy - all stuff that turned out to be true.
Easy to forget, but there was a time when if you even mentioned the lab leak theory, youtube would demonetize you. Stuff like that - that the vaccine did not prevent transmission, lies about people overdosing on ivermectin, all that stuff.
I find that group of journalists to have integrity. They are mostly liberals, but I do know they are getting real sources, facts, etc and just don't regurgitate mainstream ideas. Taibbi was given access to the Twitter files, and exposed a lot of the current administration's attempts to use big tech to control the narrative and silence individuals (all the real fascism stuff, not the fake made up Trump stuff). But even after that, he heavily criticized Musk when Musk originally shut down the X account of the kid tracking his flights. That led to a falling out. But he did it because he wouldn't compromise his morals even though Musk gave him the trust and opportunity with the files.
