This is what people need to understand. The police can't protect you. When the shit goes down, most of the killing happens in a matter of seconds or a few minutes. Very fast.
The cops can not save your life. They might want to..but they can't get there in time. The cops are good at showing up afterwards, investigating what happened and trying to find the perpetrator.
