I've got 2 Ruger: one Redhawk .44 mag and the GP100 .357 mag (which I usually use with .38 in competition).
And a .45 (again for action shooting comps) , basically a clone of Colt but with 12 shots magazine.

chances are the old bullets will never work and also the chemicals of old primings are corrosive for the inner part of the barrel

I'm amazed at the lack of recoil of the Sig p238.  I think a 19 gen 4 is up next but love the Walther ppq grip.
