In that 2nd pic, Gunter who was not known for having exceptional deltoids, looks very wide. Height and bone structure means a lot. Ronnie and Jay were two of the biggest guys ever on a IFBB stage, and next to a less-than-optimal Gunter, they seem to shrink up a little

Jay Cutler is far more successful as a bodybuilder, businessman and has a much larger fan base. No one outside a very small niche in bodybuilding would know who this Gunter guy is.

I'm 5'8.5".  I wear shoes with a tiny bit of height that probably makes me look comfortably between 5'9 and 5'10, but definitely not over.  No one really calls me short.  I have taken many clips in the gym, where I see people watching me lift.

5'7 is a touch short, but I think Gunter would be fine at that height.
