Retin a
« on: December 11, 2016, 01:37:40 PM »
Throughout my life I've always had problems with my skin acne around my temples ingrown hairs etc. Especially after starting gear I was spending an increasing amount of time with tweezers and a needle. My confidence took a hit having to go to work with swelling and marks on my face. I have always used the sun to hide my skin and improve my complexion. It doesn't work though after a few days the tan fades acne gets worse.

I read about retin a online and orderd some it's a prescription medication if you know where to look you can find it. A few dabs spread out every other night is all you need. Skin peels gets red for a few weeks. I've been on it for two months. For the first time my skin is baby soft no more ingrown hairs no more cystic acne and my sun spots  are fading. It's been a miracle for me. It's the only thing proven to work for anti aging. Thought I would share hope it helps someone.

I just received my order of retin-a from an online indian pharmacy a few days ago. Only $5 per tube.

I'm using it to reduce some fine lines and wrinkles I noticed around my eyes no homo. I have very thin skin below my eyes.

I noticed that it cause dermatitis to flare up, like patches of skin went red and flaky. I had to put cortisone cream to tame it.

Apparently it takes 6 months + to notice anything with wrinkles.

Gayer than a man being concerned about wrinkles and aging.

Where you getting it so cheap bro pm me.

Tretinoin cream is one of the few (only?) Cosmetic products that's been shown to work in like every clinical trial

I get mine from a compounding pharmacy for $25/tube but the Indian pharmacy is a good idea

Yeah I can concur, this stuff kicks ass. I've got a couple tubes kicking around from the last time I ran tren, it definitely reduced the acne a lot but didn't totally overcome it. Regular acne though it just eats it up..

It's sold OTC in Mexico, even at airport pharmacy.  $8-$12/4oz tube.  Good for overall texture, not just acne.  Causes sun sensitivity after applying, so don't use during day.  Do not apply in the orbital area of the eyes.  More is not better, just a tiny amount to cover entire face. Moisturize afterwards.  Comes in various "doses" ( .025, .05, .1) in either a cream or gel (gel would only be for very oily skin).  Usually best to start low, mid dose to allow skin to build up tolerance.

Do not apply under the eye.
Redness and flaking is normal at first until skin builds up a tolerance.  Try using every other, every 2nd day for awhile.  Do NOT apply cortisone cream before or after applying retin a.  Retin A at night , cortisone in the morning would be ok

Dermatologists seem to think it is ok to use under the eyes as long as you don't get the cream in the eyes.

https://www.realself.com/question/safe-retin-eyes

Is there a reason you think it is not advisable to use under the eyes?

I don't remember an exact reason why, but a dermatologist told me years ago not to.  It's perfect for the sides where crows feet form, but not the "socket"/orbital area because the skin is thinner/different there.

I suggest bee pollen soap myself, though if you're on hormones nothing may really stop it.

Sounds like that would be 20gr tube (2oz) and/or low dose ?

It was 20g 0.05% paid US $14.27 for 3 tubes made by Janssen which is a division of johnson & johnson

I could have got the gel version for $11 for 3 tubes at the same website, I just went with the more expensive cream version.

I get the same brand in 40gr (4oz) out of Mexico when on vacation.  You're getting a good price.  The gel version of anything is always going to be more drying, so cream is generally best.  Depending on how often you use it, you have about a 6 month supply.

Get the ROC brand retinol and hyaluronic acid product.  Less irritation, and place under eyes, and the side to take care of crows feet.

WAY overpriced for an OTC product that contains only a minute amount of the active ingredient.

Not overpriced if purchased on amazon, and you get the correct product made by ROC.  Also, you get the hyaluronic acid which is not in the cheaper (and also you take the risk of irritation) product.  You can also use the ROC product safely under the eyes, and will help build collagen.
