The guy had a crazy career, a bit under the radar in some respects. He co-wrote the theme songs to Different Strokes, Charles in Charge, The Facts of Life, Wheel of Fortune, and a ton of other things.

He had been a weekly guest on the Dan LaBatard show and he was pretty funny. Entertaining guy.

RIP. Watched every single episode of Growing Pains in its original run. Sad that he died. He's a year younger than my parents.

Sad that a guy who looks that young at close to 70, and was still active, can pass at that age. Not that 69 is young, but it is by no means what I would call old. Fast forward 20 years and it wouldn't surprise me. Sad stuff.

I know. Walter Slobcock keeps wishing me dead. This could be the year he gets his wish....or not. But then, I am only a very minor celebrity.
