CGI is closing in on digital humans.  Soon Bond can be played by Connery again and he and his heirs will reap the benefits.  Same with John Wayne's estate.  He is still among the world's more popular entertainers and if a new Wayne movie were to come out with a digital Duke that looked and spoke like him, people would go see it so long as it held true to him.  Flesh and blood actors will have to return to the stage, as if any of the current crop of crap ever worked the boards.
