It seems that everyone this week expects a bigger than normal tip.  Hair Cutters, Masseuse, car washers etc..  I avoid all of these services this week because a "regular" tip is not enough. they all want a bit more for christmas.  I'll continue my routine next week when the holiday is over.

We give each of our 2 cleaning ladies and the maintenance man $200 each.

Her dad is in a nursery home and we give the same to the LPN's that care for him.

what's the start date and range for when it's considered a "Holiday" tip.  If I cut my hair at the end of November am I obligated to give a bigger tip?  If I skip December and go in January do I have to retro-tip for the holidays? 

This month is annoying.  Every fucking person has their hands out expecting more for the same thing.  Do I have spare change?  yeah, but not for you.  I'm not cheap when it comes to tips.  My haircut costs $20 and I always give $10. 50% tip.  My Masseuse always gets a $20, maybe $30 if she lets me hit her anus.  Car wash guy depends on if he rushes and leaves streaks.  Bad streaks means no tip, he knows it.  I have a black car and it better shine like the head of Wigg's cock.

don't be a cheapskate, is that extra $20 gonna bankrupt you? the dog walker gets an extra $150, doormen get $300, barber an extra 20. At least with the doormen, they're all college kids, they sign for all my packages, handle my returns, they count on this shit, it matters to them.

My wife does most of the website and booking stuff.
She enjoys it and does an incredible job and the places stay booked up.
You really need to answer any requests within a few hours or they move on.

However, there can be some rapid hassles out of the blue.
You have to jump on problems or you're fuked in the long run.

The places are pretty big and in ideal, scenic locations.
One on a lovely, wide, fast flowing Mt river.
The other is on the side of a Mt with an incredible view.

We avg 200-300 per night plus cleaning fee and damage Ins.
My wife is a retired banker who also has her real estate license.
She was doing great with the river house, so I got us the Mt Place.
My mom passed away recently and I bought that place with what she left me.

I get my hair cut by this old Mexican lady who looks/talks like betty boop. Costs me $10 & i tip 2-3& she's surprised she gets that. (Guess a lot of her customers don't tip at all.. Live in a wealthy area.. Lotta retired Jewish and midwestern folks who live in country clubs).

Side note.. This lady has a flyer for my p.t. business up on her mirror as well as a poster her had made of one of my business cards hung up. Also, offered to let me "have her h2 hummer for as long as I wanted it (free... She's also gotta lil yellow slk benz)... Also, had me intimidate her son-in-law to stop bullying her grandson.... Also, train her grandson so he'd feel stronger and more confident.

Strangest relationship I've ever had with somebody who's cut my hair.

Agreed in that I will never tip for takeout.I tip my trash man cause he takes anything,I tip mailman and good service in eat in restaurants,I tip casino valet extremely well as they hook me up and put my car right in front of door.Other than that everyone gets this tip from me,Don't stare directly at the sun and always use lube.
