How far did you get in bodybuilding, Howard? Why exactly did you quit competing?
I'm Howard, age 58 and recently retired from small college teaching ( physics). I went to grad school and never quit , earning a masters in physics and doctorate in science education .
At 5'10" I'm a "bulky" 250'ish and need to get leaner.
My wife is previously divorced (like me) , cute face with a curvy figure and was an exec VP for a major bank.
Despite what LtWtbaby thinks, she's a real life partner and we are building an awesome lifestyle TOGETHER.
We own a 5 BR home on 5 wooded acres in N Ga which is our permanent residence. It has 2 streams , regular herd of deer and a bunch of pretty birds and other wild life . On the back deck we have a large hot tub, that I enjoy.
Going out on a clear night and looking up at the stars while soaking with her is amazing.
We also own a couple (2) large vacation rentals in the N. Ga Mts. My wife does a great job keeping them rented and it's a nice small business where we employ a cleaning lady, handy man, etc.
I recently bought my dream car, a classic dark purple Mustang convertible and it kicks ass, vroom-vroom.
From 1978-95 I competed in over 40 bodybuilding contests along, mostly on the state/regional level.
I juiced a bit in the mid 80's but enjoyed doing well in Untested NPC shows in the 90's without any 'roids.
Before any of that I was active duty USMC and was proud to have served with some great marines.
That's my story. What's yours?
