There are probably thousands of Sam Brintons. I do not really know for sure. I was referring to the one particular Sam Brinton who made a name for ‘themselves’ stealing people's luggage. He prefers the singular pronoun 'they'. Frankly, I find the whole pronoun thing annoying and confusing. If I wanted to be a jerk, I would have referred to Sam Brinton as 'it', which seems like the easiest and most appropriate choice for someone who says they are 'genderfluid' and who looks and acts like Sam Brinton.

Well, about a mile up the hill from my backyard is where West Linn, City Hall is located. Prior to being Mayor for two years she was on the city council. Who knows, maybe before that she was on the West Linn/Wilsonville school board. There is nothing unusual about an aspiring politician starting out by serving on a local school board, city council, and even as a mayor. Now she is a State Representative for district 37 which includes West Linn. She was our mayor for one year. I honestly do not remember anything about her during that time.  No doubt, I voted for her when she ran for the House.

Our current Mayor is Rory Bialostosky. He is 23 years old and West Linn's youngest Mayor. He was elected to the West Linn City Council when he was only 21.

Either that or I misspoke because I rarely say who I voted for.

In the 2022 primary election she had no competition. Therefore, in the general election there were only three choices, the Republican candidate, democratic candidate or other/write in, which is wasted vote. In the 2022 general election the other/write in got 39 votes or 1%... probably thirty-nine different people all voting for themselves. LOL!

If you are referring to when she was running for Mayor, who knows who I voted for if anyone. Often there are multiple candidates. And since it is non-partisan, I could have chosen anyone of them.

It is interesting that the video was on her Democratic opponent's campaign webpage, Brian Maguire and it was from when she was on the West Linn City Council, so prior to 2020. Unfortunately, he still only wound up with 10% of the Democratic vote, but then Jules is the incumbent. Statistically, incumbents have an advantage in an election.
