I went to Golds in Venice around in 2000, there was a ton of people hovering and a lot of hype.  Sure enough it was about Kovaks.  Everyone was going nuts watching him pound out 405 on the incline bench.

He looked pretty damn good at one time. Unsurprisingly, he wasn't able to hold it together for long though.

I think the story is kovacs heard Titus used 10g test a week when he came out of prison to put size back on... So kovacs stayed using 10g test/wk.

First time I met him he was sitting at a table sweating profusely and kept squinting his eyes hard. Nice guy though. Heard he had a ketamine problem for a while (& Nubian)

There were times when I'd have sweat literaly dripping off my nose/forehead/chin onto the keyboard at work while on full blast 7g cycles + opiates.... I know the look.
