The dude is a beast to be able to handle being behind bars nearly 50 years.   I remember after I had my motorcycle accident I was transferred to a care facility for 6 weeks to rehab and recover.  Those 6 weeks in that facility felt like I was in Jail, as I could have visitors, but the doctors wouldn't let me leave until I reached a certain stage of mobility.  And that was just 6 weeks.  Manson has been in prison almost 50 years for just his involvement in that last crime spree.  But when you consider all the years he spent in prison when he was younger, he's been incarcerated over 60 years of his life.
