all the threads about marriage and women and pictures of women are embarassing.

this is suppose to be a grown up man training bodybuilding forum, yet it seems to be full of teenagers - teenagers using the internet to post pictures of their dreamgirls like its a wall in their boysroom, teenagers wondering about if women will accept them and teenagers coming from broken homes wondering if marriage is such a good thing.

what the fuck is going on? grow up. you need to have that shit sorted and figured out by now.

you might as well start wearing pantyhose the way things are going for you guys.

embarrasing.

Females dominate the men's heads.
This diminishes by age though. You give less and less room to women.

I'll be the first to admit I've got a couple major issues that prevented me from being the ideal husband.

1. The biggest non-starter against me is NOT wanting to have kids.
Many , normal , healthy females in their prime years ( 21-35) will want to be a mom.

My first wife didn't UNTIL 2-3 years after we got married. She changed and it
was sincere, deep and genuine. I never changed and realized divorce was the only solution

18 mos after the divorce we met by accident in a gym. We had a wonderful, brief reunion
at the gym juice bar. She had met a divorced man with twin girls ( age 3? ).
She seemed happy and it was obvious she loved being a mom.
I was happy, and had moved on to the woman who was to be my next wife . win/win

Didn't you believe how old they were or that you couldn't understand how twins could be the same age?

From bethere's prep thread earlier:

Fear not, good man, someone will start a new thread soon about how marriage is impossible and not having kids, and these experts will flock to that, sprinkling their comments in between all of Howard's.

I agree, it's mainly the mans fault:

 1. The man lets his genitals make decisions for him without considering potential consequences and financial ramifications.

2. His total ignorance of the marriage and divorce laws is the nail in the coffin.

Have sex with as many women as possible, but don't live with them, don't get them pregnant and don't marry them.  Follow these simple rules and you'll have much more money in your pocket and live a happy, stress-free life.

I still disagree on this.

How on earth is one income going to accumulate greater wealth than two incomes? Alone you'll fave to pay the house, food, travelling ect. all on your own.
I'm talking about normal middle class people here. Not very rich businessmen/sports stars and their bimbo wives who do nothing but look pretty. Normal women, huge majority of females, work just like men do.

Plus the whole approach of "fuck as many women as possible and live stress-free life" applies to very few, exceptionally handsome and socially gifted men. Majority will struggle to get random pussy every full moon.

I mean they were around age 3 , but I don't remember the exact age, this was over 20 years ago.

Why do you NEED to buy a house, spend money frivolously and live at or beyond your means?  If a man needs to shack up with a woman in order to live comfortably, he is probably a very low wage earner and should consider getting some new skills and/or a new career.

Usually a man makes more money than a woman does.  Sure you can cherry pick, but more often than not, the man earns more.

If the woman makes a lot more money than you, by all means... marry her.  That way you can sue her for 50% when the divorce comes.

The "stress-free life" applies more toward finances and not having to report to someone (a woman) about how, why and where to spend your money.

There are more women the world than men... plenty of pussy out there to slay.

You sound like you may have a few insecurities about yourself.  Sorry, but I can't help you in that area.

I agree with the "don't get them pregnant" part. ;D

One of the main issues is that a woman will likely change MORE then a man between age 21-35.
Take for example, the high school sweethearts that marry in their early 20's.
Before age 30 she's likely to have a very different set of goals and desires then when she first got married.

It's my observation that most men cave and simply go along with it.
They even have this ad ( insurance?) that shows the stages:

scene 1: young couple sitting on a plane with rude kids behind them kicking the chairs.
He says ; " We're never having kids."

scene 2 : She walks by him and says ; " I'm pregnant"

scene 3: Sitting in their upscale , city , high raise condo he says;
" We're never moving the suburbs"
She looks back and says; " I'm pregnant ( again)" So, they move to a bigger home in the dreaded 'burbs.

scene 4: He looks at a guy with a mini-van and says ; " We're never buying one of those."
Of course, they immediately show him driving his own mini-van with wife and both kids.

scene 5 : having changed and fully accepted his fate as a family man he hugs his kids and says;
" I'm never letting go."

The ad paints a nice picture in the end , but we know he endured a lot of bullshit and just let it happen.

I think real men, take control of the direction of their life and don't just go along for the ride.

Good post.

I agree that a man needs to be careful when considering marriage.
Other key factors besides looks and dick sucking need to be considered.

ideally you should marry the one with the angels soul, but im too much of a pussy to do so and im convinced that i wouldnt br good enough for her and that id let her down all the time

it sucks to be me

oh well, guess i'll just listen to "all in need is the air that i breathe" by The Hollies and ball my eyes out
