I'll be the first to admit I've got a couple major issues that prevented me from being the ideal husband.

1. The biggest non-starter against me is NOT wanting to have kids.
Many , normal , healthy females in their prime years ( 21-35) will want to be a mom.

My first wife didn't UNTIL 2-3 years after we got married. She changed and it
was sincere, deep and genuine. I never changed and realized divorce was the only solution

18 mos after the divorce we met by accident in a gym. We had a wonderful, brief reunion
at the gym juice bar. She had met a divorced man with twin girls ( age 3? ).
She seemed happy and it was obvious she loved being a mom.
I was happy, and had moved on to the woman who was to be my next wife . win/win

No one gives a shit.

When selecting a woman for long term relations the most important criteria that are essential are

Must be desireable and willing to have regular sex.

Must cook and keep you well fed.

Must clean and maintain a tidy household.

These are simple things that must be met and it is not asking for much,  the rest is irellevant, women are not for company and affection is for women and fags.

Haha maybe I should have worded it different mate, I just never understood a mans desire for affection, I hate being touched unless it's for sex.
I had this debate with a lad at work about what purpose his lass serves if she isn't cooking and cleaning or having sex and he's having to do that shit he said "company and cuddles"

i quite like this romantic and affection stuff, but it honestly does make me feel like a weak pussy while it's happening, too much influence from my macho uncles while growing up i guess

Your right I should have those on list, I been fortunate enough not to have to deal with that despite the obligatory post natal nutcase period that women tend to go though which is why I forgot it on list, I seen a good mate go though the mill with it though, not nice and to be avoided at all costs

Relationships have become increasingly difficult due to the "re-strengthening" of the female position. While some ideals are noble and true(equality as in the freedom and right to pursue happiness) the overall effect of this, brought to the extreme by politics, is lethal for most males as the females are invading their territory and are being rewarded for it.
On top of that many females know no real compassion and always seek out the "best deal" to nurture their (mostly virtual) offspring.

yep, men are much much more romantic than women and they love much deep and stronger than women do within the romantic love realm

by the way, all great love songs and love poems were written by men

but i gotta admit that mother to child love is maybe the strongest love of all, except for Godly or spirtual love
