Pop a B Complex before you go out and then one again before you go to bed, this may not totally eliminate a hangover but will definitely help.

Works great for me!

Coca Cola Light, Pepsi Max, or any other sugarfree soda.

If you are only having a glass of red wine there are many health benefits...one study showed it lowered the amount of belly fat compared to not drinking any.  Also, it adds in cardiovascular health and had antioxidants.

If you are planning on having more then a drink and are watching calories, drink vodka and diet coke/sprite.  It isn't perfect but adding a lemon can help.

If you are just trying to avoid a hangover drink at least a glass of water between every glass (and I would get a little sodium too).

I disagree, I think a glass of wine has many health benefits and is a better choice then a dessert would be.

This is my drink of choice in the summer...try it I swear it's good...

Pina Colada MuscleMilk w/ some RUM in it...

May as well get a little nutritional benefit out of it.

Lots of water in between drinks...then...aww who cares! Drink up! if you're going to be insubordinate may as well go the whole fkn nine yards...

If you arent competing...then drink up and rock on!

Sounds delish! Have to try it...Love Rum. My fav though has got to be LIIT. My phylosophy - you are drinking so you may as well enjoy it fully, so drink what tastes good...On this note I have been wondering if Bacardi with diet coke it really a true zero carb beverage...heard/read and saw that on TV. Taste crappy, but I would opt for it once in a while...

Wine...aaahhhh...can't share the benefits with you guys - gives me massive headaches next day...

True, but he asked if its the same has having alcohol.  I am saying the alcohol in a jack daniels and the alcohol in wine are both alcohol, therefore an empty calorie.

I know what you are saying.  By the way I like your quote and completely agree with it.

Chain, I wouldn't drink apple juice the whole night either.  Again it is packed with calories and sugar.  You can try adding like a quater of a glass of apple juice to water and stretch it out.  Or like someone else said, have diet soda or flavored water for a change.

The BEAST is right.  Aside from the well known health benefits of red wine, new research is showing that red wine can help prevent diabetes and obesity too.  Every one interested in fitness and bodybuilding, who enjoys wine, should include red wine into their daily calories.  But it has to be only one or two glasses a day.  More than that wipes out all of the benefits and introduces all of the health problems associated with drinking in excess.

That maybe true, but this guy is leaving out one very important factor in his lifestyle that must be taken into consideration. "CGM" uses AAS and in that case alcohol should not be an option as part of his lifestyle...end of story. Even if one is "off-cycle" regular alcohol consumption is still not a good idea. I'm not saying he can not enjoy a drink or two every once in a while, but these should be few and far between and most definitely when he is not using AAS.

I've been a beer drinker forever but have gotten into wine and sake over that last year.  Good shit and I don't think it's going to your belly like beer does.  I wouldn't do 4 glasses, 2 seems perfect, no ill side effects.
