It will work.  They'll add sensors and a variety of other things.  It ain't gonna be straight up and down.
Even if only 80% effective, massivley worth it and cost effective, especially since it will be paid for by Mexico in the form of various taxes, penalties, fees and reimbursements.

Someplace on this here computer I have photos of an very long  underground turned leading from one factory in Mexico to another factory in the US. (I'll try to find it.)

It appears that the company which owned the factory on the US side of the border discovered that they were discovered and simply moved 'shop' up north a bit in the Los Angeles vicinity and are still doing business under their original name.

And before anyone asks, "No! They didn't take the tunnel with them!"

But I'm sure that something amiss is stilt at foot.

PS. If anyone dies or is damaged while scaling that wall, there will be lawsuits.

Attorneys in the San Diego area are already prepared to chase the ambulance/paddy-wagon/ or mule pulled cart.
