At some point 30 years ago Hot Stuff had actual steroid ingredients in it, Dianabol I think.  It had such an impact it is still discussed today.  Why aren't supplement companies running this same scam to drive sales?  Adding some active ingredients here and there.  I don't think it's a cost thing, even small amounts would produce more results than the nothing from regular fart powder.  Or are they actually doing this and I just don't know about it?

I can't remember exactly, but it contained either crushed up Halo or D-bol.

I guess what I'm wondering is despite the laws passed way back when, why isn't anyone doing this to get a buzz for their supplement lines?  Society and people's willingness to follow the law, especially where $$ is involved ain't the same as it was 30 yrs ago.

My guess is that some sups companies are doing exactly this, spiking random batches with real drugs to give some users results so they will spread the word.  Then again, there is so much old guy prescribed test going on maybe it wouldn't pencil out.

Now we need to break them down into two categories: intentionally natural and actually natural.

I had a friend whose Dad (a football coach) was feeding him Dianabol and telling him it was vitamins.  So it isn't unheard of.

Rumor was that they spiked the early batches with small amounts of D-bol, to get folks coming back.

Later, similar rumors went around about the early two container MetRx (that was supposedly D-bol, plus clenbuterol). And the early batches of Phospagain/Phosphagen from EAS (D-bol).

They have gotten smarter now they fund a study and put the guys on juice to make the results impressive, muscletech had a study where they took 24 advanced gymrats and put them on  a hmb supplement for 3 months and at the end they gained 16 pounds of lean muscle while losing 12 pounds of bodyfat and gained 36 pounds on the squat, 28 pounds on the bench and 62 pounds on the deadlift, obviously no natural supplement can do this but naive people will believe it then it sells like hot cakes.

Ultimate Orange was Caffeine, Carb powder, and Ma Huang. It might of had Grapefruit extract also, but those were the big 3. The secret I think was that the dosages weren't really all that standardized, it was like you opened a few Diet Fuel bottles, uncapped the the pills, dumped them in the jug, and hoped for the best. Also, the company's dosing parameters had you at between #50-75 Mg of Ephedrine per sitting after conversion. Add to that a gram plus of caffeine, and you can see why folks thought it so strong.
