Martin Luther King Jr. Day-Lets Reflect.
« on: January 16, 2017, 09:27:01 AM »
From The Desk Of Fallsview:

Greetings! As I sit here in my study gazing out my window at the beautiful water falls in my backyard I'm reflecting on a great man that devoted his life to bringing people together.
I have many speaking engagements and festivities planned for today so I will make this short and sweet. No one, I repeat no one on this board needs to talk in a degrading manner about one's race. No one should use language unacceptable in their workplace on this forum. I understand Ron and I have a difference of opinion on this matter but I ask all of you to just mind your manners and be a good person that society will look up to. You wouldn't use that type of language in front of children or woman would you? So don't use it here.

Take the Fallsview pledge and make 2017 a year of Triumph. Reprogram your mind to eliminate fears and phobias. I can guarantee you if you do, it will make your life better in every way. You'll notice the poundages in the gym will go up, the fat will go down and you'll feel like a brand new person.

STAY POSITIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He was a great man, without him we might not benefit from the culture enrichment we have today.

I might take a drive through Lorain ave in Cleveland to reflect on the teachings of Dr. king.

Much like Bill Clinton, "Dr" King usually chose someone other than his wife as his splooge receptacle.

Meanwhile at the U of Oregon

Quote
When the student union considered the question, some students asked, “Does the MLK quote represent us today?” The problem wasn’t so much the message, but the fact that it only focused on racial diversity instead of gender identity.

“Diversity is so much more than race,” said one sophomore architecture major. “Obviously race still plays a big role. But there are people who identify differently in gender and all sorts of things like that.”

We need more people like MLK, race relations have gotten very bad in the last 8 years and the president and the media share the blame.
