I know I'll be heavily trashed for even saying this,  but I'm one of the still subscribers to Flex mag ( I know it makes no sense in the internet era)  I just do it cause I still like to read the physical book/mag and cause I  get a motivation to hit the gym from it , not to mention I used to collect photos from the golden era specially Arnold Lou etc  and there's a nostalgia aspect to it...


Just to find out that one of my Arnold favorite photos its in the current issue as a poster.....

Guess what ?  the subscribers are not getting the posters in their issues  since who knows when !

What a CHEAP way to tell costumers to let the subscription expire ...in a world where people no longer cares to buy, let alone subscribe to magazines in general ....

It's not just the lack of posters. I didn't notice it until about a year ago. The reason that Flex is offering two-years-worth of magazine for $25 dollars is that the issues you get in the mail are about 20% smaller than the ones on the rack.

With the current issue (via subscription) not only is there no poster of Arnold, but the article on Juan Morel is gone. So too is the Johnnie Jackson back-training pages. To get those, you have to buy this month's issue off the rack, which is over $7 (including tax).

Take a look at both Flex magazines closely ! one is thicker, has more articles, 50% more pages!!!!  and another Arnold poster !


I need to get some GetBiggers to have a petition signed to get compensated or to simply get rid of Flex magazine for good .

So I really see this as a major 'fuck you' to the loyal FLEX audience. I go out of my way to take care of my subscribers; it makes total business sense to do so.

I was a subscriber in the late '80s. Loved that shit. Didn't recognize the inherent faggotry. Became all excited when I'd return home from school and Mom would declare my new issue had arrived.
