LOL!!!!!

I started posting that  phrase on Muscular Development under the user name "Listerine".  King Shizzo also posted there, with Ron Avidan as a baby as his avatar.  ;D  I was not banned from MD but decided to actually post here rather than lurk - after lurking since around this time in 2013.  ;D

Yes, it was me who broke the news - and to some extent violated the privacy of Antoine Vaillant - when I stated that he missed his Thunder Bay appearance as part of his Canadian Muscle Bodybuilding Tour, in order to enter rehab for crystal meth:

http://forums.musculardevelopment.com/showthread.php/159219-Antoine-Vaillant-cancelled-his-Canadian-Muscle-Bodybuilding-Tour

The information about Antoine's rehab was shared to me in privacy.  I probably shouldn't have posted that.  If Antoine is reading this - I apologize.  I wish you the best in your efforts to get sober.

I was actually one of the organizers of that event along with the owner of the Nutrition House in town, and I was a bit disappointed in Antoine's no show.  Maybe he should take Kratom until he goes enough days without drugs, then just quit everything completely?  It's clear to me that Antoine can't moderate drugs, unfortunately, so even a weekend warrior approach will not work for him.  I fear for his health.

So I had only really taken about a year off from Getbig since 2003 - I took the year 2012 off, with a bit of time from the years on either side.  I was only away from Getbig for roughly the tenure of CM Punk as the WWE champion.  ;D

Here is an example of my originating of this phrase on MD:

I fear for his health.

When I watched the first interview I did with Rich at the 2012 Mr. Olympia contest, I noticed he was out of breath.  His girlfriend Amy Waz added me to Facebook, and she said the same thing.  She also said Rich had a history with recreational drugs for pain relief, and - well, I think everything Amy said is sort of a matter of public record at this point, so it's not exactly a violation of the privacy of Rich for me to repeat it.

I can definitely see being Rich's size being a painful thing, so I understand the use of Oxycontin, assuming Amy was telling the truth.  With that said, opiates are fairly nontoxic to the body.  The issue is dependence and overdose.  Opiates would be the only drug that I would wish to include in my life.  It's either opiates or abstinence.  Marijuana has ridiculously high side effects for me - anxiety bordering on the schizophrenic.  Literally mental illness levels of schizophrenia.

Rich is a SUPER NICE guy, and I really hope people can see that.  He will literally talk to anyone who comes up to him.  He does not discriminate.  He will give the time to anyone who comes up to him and shows him respect.

Seriously, why would he give a 5'8.5"/170-lb guy, essentially a manlet, like myself the time of day for multiple interviews that exceeded a million views on YouTube if he wasn't a nice guy.

I don't exactly understand the hate on Rich.  All that I can say is that I think some people of jealous of his fairly major success in the world of bodybuilding.

Before judging Rich, wait the 3.5 hours in his line at any given expo and talk to the man.  I think you may change your views on him.

That being said, I fear for his health.

Hm...it is possible.

To be honest, I get the impression that Rich will speak with anyone if he has the time, and if that person shows him respect.

Who knows though?  I have Matt Tsinkorang to thank for getting me that interview.  He was Mutant's social media manager at the time, and made the introduction.  Also to Ron Partlow, and the rest of the Mutant guys.

I don't completely understand the hate on Rich.

I understand the hate on me on Getbig from around 2008-2011.  It was because I interjected every thread with race.  It's not even that my posts were wrong, it's that they were inappropriate and derailed the threads at the time.

It was a part of a waking up period for me, and I felt the need to share what I learned.  Admittedly, now that more and more people are speaking on the anti-SJW stuff that I always did, I have less of a desire to speak about it myself.  I am happy the conversation got started.

That is why I was hesitant to come back to Getbig - out of fear members here would resent me, and also out of fear that I would relapse into my old habits.

I needed rehab from Getbig.  ;D

Rich will be 47 this year.  I hate to think that he may well be in his last 3-8 years.

Could I be completely wrong about that?  Ronnie keeps on ticking, after all.

Opiates are toxic to the body. I have a friend who got kidney failure and transplant because of heroin use. When he was only on weed and alchool he had a functional body.

How did opiate use directly lead to his kidney failure?  If it was specifically heroin, can you tell me a little more about that?

No they aren't (erm... well everything is in a way) and no he didn't - opiates metabolize via the liver...

(...well he probably did  ;D, but it would have been a 'Hep' thing due to using injectable crap introducing stuff into his bloodstream that his kidneys needed to filter...)

ps - how's he doing?  Do you fear for his health nowadays?

I am not a doctor. These are the facts:
This friend of mine was on booze and weeds since his 13/14yo. In his 24yo he was a year on heroin give or take. When we were around 26-28yo he started doing dyalisis on/off because his kidneys were startint to shutt down. Now we are 40, he had a kidney transplant like 8 years back.
