It's obvious that it is fake, I just don't realize the allure of pretending to eat people. Maybe I'm just more normal than I thought 
No one is suggesting this is "real."
The point is that it is a symbolic ritual.
I am sure many of the stars there are just going to maintain and further their careers. But they KNOW what they are flirting with is real behind the scenes and they kiss the asses of these very people. Hence to be a Hollywood actor is to be the lowest of whores.
