I don't think Flex should be on any of these lists.

Why?

Because to me, an "uncrowned Mr. Olympia" is someone that should have won an olympia contest, but did not.

And, it can be argued quite convincingly that Flex Wheeler did not deserve to win ANY of the Olympia contests he entered.

he had the POTENTIAL to win, but never showed up in great shape (even in 1993, his best Olympia appearance ever, he was soft from the back below the waist (no hams, glutes or calves). Personally, I though Shawn should have been higher than Flex in 93.  Had Flex shown up in his AC condition, I think he could have won the whole thing.  But, he choked.  And that was the curse of his career: he never got it all together for the Olympia. He always seemed to peak for the AC.

Some of the others on this list (eg. Kevin (02), Shawn (94) and Labrada (90) are the TRUE uncrowned olympians because they should have won the olympia on a particular year, but were given second instead.

Jay is pretty much the frontrunner in the "uncrowned mr. olympia class"

The man won pre-judging by 6 pts. We all know the night show isn't worth jack shit. Especially enough to make up 6 points.

Been around a long time...WATCHED Frank Zane beat Robby Robinson for the O.....Robbys arm was bigger than Zanes leg....conditioning you could argue should never beat such awesome size and shape....and Robby was by no means smooth......Think Robby defined an era in bodybuilding and should of had  one Sandow. What do you guys think?

 I also find it pretty hard to believe he hadn't won one. I guess in those days a more conditioned smaller guy could win. But it is bodybuilding, so size should matter.

Shawn Ray with out a doubt should have won Mr. O. He was the most consistent body builder year after year. By far he had the most complete physic for he's time!

Hands down Shawn is the most symmetrical bodybuilder of my time.  :o
Hell he looks like the bodybuilder I received on my trophy from my body building contest! Phenomenal!
