When you're in your 20s and SO gung-ho, many think they don't give a rat's ass when wisened individuals tell them they're gonna pay a heavy toll later in life. But that day comes much faster than anyone can believe, and when your health is tanking, it's a terrifying and humbling punch in the face.
I hope he's OK, of course, but the dude is tempting fate, either way.
