I really like playing soccer, but I have to agree with you here when it comes to watching it.  The constant flops and lack of scoring are what get to me.  I can watch hockey and fight sports all day.  Haven't watched american football or basketball in years.

Just because it's the most common/popular thing doesn't mean it's a good thing. Same goes for most played music, most read books, etc. I'm not a basketball fan but I would rather watch 2 hours of it than 20 minutes of soccer (or 24h of kai greene fucking a grapefruit but that's another topic) (no homo of course)

AGREED. Soccer is a sport for peasants. The ONLY reason why it's so popular is because you can play soccer ANYWHERE and use ANYTHING for a ball and goalposts (2 trees or 2 jumpers or 2 bins...). You can't do that with basketball. You need a legit ball, a ring, and a smooth, hard surface.
If there were more basketball courts/rings around n/hoods, basketball would be even bigger. If there were more soccer fields, it wouldn't make a difference.

Also, LOL at matches ending up 0-0. WTF kinda shit is that?! FFS make the goalposts a couple inches wider and taller and you'd get more shot attempts from the players, more goals, better goals, more excitement... Fucking idiots.

I remember flicking through tv channels about 5 years ago and saw "MLB All Star Game" so I thought I'd give it a chance since it's an "all star" game...
I forced myself to watch 20 or so minutes of it and couldn't believe how fucking boring and pathetic that shit was. They could've replaced 95% of the "all star" players/team with 90yo ladies from the crowd and it wouldn't have made the slightest difference to the game.
Baseball is the fucking worst. How can anyone watch that shit?
