Based on what I have read, Alex Pretti was not Jewish... not that it makes any difference, one way or another.

He was Jewish and was involved in the Jewish Voice for peace. My point is a lot of the crazy libs wish death on the Jews

The judges really have become part of the resistance.  Such a dumb decision.

Thank god for appeals court.

Especially when you have stuff like this:

Hans Mahncke
@HansMahncke

Whenever these things happen, it almost always turns out to be a radical partisan activist behind the robe.

In this case, it's Christopher Cooper, the same judge who sabotaged the trial of Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann, blocked January 6 defendants from accessing GoFundMe funds, and sentenced others under the totally discredited 18 U.S.C. 1512.

Cooper is also married to Amy Jeffress, Joe Biden's personal attorney and counselor to Eric Holder. And to complete the circle, Cooper and Jeffress were married by Merrick Garland.

So yes, it's absolutely shocking that he ended up ruling against Trump.

Am I correct in assuming you don't agree with Judge Denise Casper's ruling and that Trump does have constitutional authority over the election process.

Based on what I have read in the Constitution, States have 'core' authority over the election process. Congress is able to pass legislation that alters or sets the parameters on the election rules as determined by the states. The President lacks any independent, constitutional power to alter state election laws. The President's only formal role in election rules is the power to sign or veto legislation passed by Congress. Do you see this happening?

You are incorrect.  I haven't read the ruling yet (just the article), so I don't know if I agree with her or not.

That said, these federal district court judges have been reversed on appeal numerous times in cases involving Trump.  A lot of them are part of "the resistance."  No idea how this one will turn out.
