I was doing the usual hi how.are you how was you day horseshit, even though I really don't care, part of the social act so to speak then I guess I slipped up and showed a part of my true narcissistic nature and fucked it all up

You can usually tell by the response time. If they respond almost immediately to you, like unnaturally fast... it is high time to be concerned.
