Who says you can't talk about racism? I think you're missing the point. There's a difference between racial/racism discussions and simply walking up to someone and spewing a racial slur. You can't do the latter at any job or school and its been this way for quite a while. That is not nothing new. Restricting ethnic and racial slurs in the school and/or workforce has been around for a long time. First amendment doesn't mean you can walk up to someone at work and school and say anything you want to them. And that is what the data showed, "What they do support is restricting racial  or ethnic slurs." But we already know a restriction on racial or ethnic slurs in places of business or school has been around for a while.

I'm used to hearing black racial hatred against whites in South Africa on a regular basis.

The government also had a type of 'war room' where they created fake white accounts on social media, had actors call in call shows etc, and spewed fake racial hatred in the media. This has been exposed, so it's not a conspiracy theory. The government itself foments racial hatred with fake social media in order to create laws aimed at punishing 'racist speech' which means to target whites from criticizing blacks.

Either way, I don't believe in banning real opinions by real people, I will rather know what other people are thinking so I know who my friends and enemies are, and plan accordingly, and not live in ignorance.
