Reportedly people are stuck in traffic jams.
People are escaping by their own means. Government doesn't provide centralized evacuation help. No drinking water provided. SURPRISING!

I used to live 20 min from it

It's not in danger of collapsing

The primary spillway is suffering from cavitation

The emergency spillway is unlined (no concrete)

There is a 30 foot lip on the top of the spillway that is being undermined from the water

If that goes, then theyre in trouble

Pray the rain holds up so they can repair it, its gonna b hella of a job to repair it

If a lot of rain continues then there  both spillways will erode

Same applies to everyone having somewhat developed and mature infra.

No one has the kind of money/resources it woult take today to repair everything. Costs are so high.

And he's getting rid of those immigrants who are the ONLY ones who would be willing to work on it!

It actually solidifies his point, though, that our roads, etc. are collapsing. I think it is overblown from both parties and don't want a ton of money spent on this stuff but it is what it is. They both want large infrastructure spending. This should have been stopped/taken care of previously. Where does all the money go?
