Are you taking Finasteride and do you use a special shampoo?
No. I don't really like taking any drugs and that one definitely has side effects. I don't really use a shampoo, I did for a while but really didn't notice anything.
The hair transplants are permanent, hair taken from areas you will not lose it in and transplanted elsewhere. Only so much they can do each time, I've had about 7500 grafts transplanted over 3 operations.
Originally did it because I lost my hair young, sped up due to roid use but looking at it realistically it was always going to go. My younger brother lost a lot by 20 and doesn't lift/use roids. I didn't really notice it badly until i'd been completely clean at 24 about 8 weeks after going off. I'm 37 now my hair would have fallen out by now steroid use or not or at least i'd have lost a lot. Maybe losing it young made me do something about it that I wouldn't have later on.
I had the last one about 4 months ago and really can notice the difference to thickness now. Did the top of the crown as well which is good but need to go back later this year or next year and do the crown again to fill it all in. Last two done in Thailand, very high quality.
Wigs to me look stupid and too much care is required. I have no extra care to do, it just takes a while after an operation to achieve the finished look like 12-18 months but each time I've had a lot happen in the first 4-6 months.
