One of my first jobs as a teen was working at a printing press. Fun stuff!

When I was in college, I worked at a plastics rolling factory in Woburn, MA and watched a 20 year veteran do the same thing. He was cleaning the nip rollers while they were running ("it's easier") and let his mind wander. Before the other operator hit the e-stop, it had pulled his arm in up to the shoulder. He lost that arm.

Got to be careful around machines. Especially things that spin, for some reason folks forget about their power more than others -
