Wasn't my opinion and I'm referring to what several republican senators said.
1. Wanted to replace workers with robotics whenever possible.
* Hard to be an advocate for "labor" when you want to automate everything.
2. Was a staunch voice to avoid raising any minimum wage or rate for
basic , labor intensive work.
3. Had a rough divorce, where his ex-wife claimed he was guilty of spousal abuse.*
4. Ran the sexy Carl Jr ads that had Paris Hilton ( and others) eating burgers in bikinis
while washing cars.*
* ironically, these events doomed him with many republicans.
Please note, the GOP leadership said he was a train wreck.
I just read and watch what happens, like most working slobs.
He also employed an undocumented worker as a maid for at least a few years. Tt was ultimately the GOP that sunk this guy and I'm finally glad to see them coming to their senses and putting the good of the country ahead of blind loyalty to their party.
