RUHL 2004 O
« on: February 16, 2017, 02:13:09 PM »
Big but awkward... plus his abs started to look really weird by this point, like a loaf of bread.

Still looked awesome in some shots and had no real weak muscles outside of triceps. Underrated legs.

Is he still alive?

Yes sir.

As I stated in a previous post, I fear for his health.

He is turning 45 next Wednesday.  After the death of Greg Kovacs in 2013, Markus stated that his heart is the size of an elephant.  Despite that, he remains in the 285-lb range.  :-\

Same here.  He walked the walk as one of the largest muscular men on the planet for years.  Why keep pushing it well after his competitive heyday?

Sad but true.  We joke about Markus outliving us all, but he will be 45 this month, and will not likely make 55 in my opinion.  :(

He still smoke?

In MD, he wrote that he never smoked much, and regretted including it in his "Made in Germany" DVD.

When I watched the DVD, I feared for his health.

No need to fear for his health. To maintain his massive physique probably requires a top notch diet and exercise program that he consulted his physician about before starting. He has not used any anabolics that I am aware of either.

Fark!  That's 2 big BB age related surprises I've had this week - Ruhl and Palumbo - younger than, and the same age as me, respectively.  I couldn't believe Palumbo in particular, but I have to respect the way he's stripped it back and gone full cardio... did he have a health scare or something?

You don't always get a warning shot Markus!

Long live Marcus -- if he made that statement & it's true his heart is that enlarged
He clearly knows the risks his is taking .

It is his life & there are No Guartees to how long any of us will live
Though he certainly isn't doing what is expected to achieve a long life span.

He Seems happy enough.

It's like with smoking cigarettes. Some people just don't have the body chemistry to deal with it and drop dead early from it.
