This is the part you cut off.
"We don't have Putin's fingerprints on anything or a piece of paper that shows he signed the order, but the nature of the operation was such that this had to be approved by top levels of the Russian government," a senior administration official with access to the intelligence on the hacking told CNN.
"The intelligence community has assessed that in order for this operation to have been executed, it could not have been done without the highest levels of the government, including the President himself."
1. Their previous statement contradicts what they say afterwards, and;
2. Since the ex-CIA director himself said, when he called out the US President in public (which IMHO, he deserved jail time for opening his fucking mouth,) that the President has to choose his words more carefully; wouldn't it make just as much sense, if not more, for them to leak more DEFINITIVE proof on the president of a sovereign foreign nation? To me, it would make a lot more sense to leak a story pointing to an email sent by Putin or a conversation picked up by our intelligence proving that Putin had direct conversations with the people that did the hacking. Instead, they leak a half-assed story showing... nothing. And they expect people to believe and trust what they do?
30,000 foot view, IMHO, the CIA was hell bent on taking the fight to Russia. In comes The Don and spoils their party. Dumb fucks and their senile bosses freak out and start a word of words with the president.
Beautiful.
