WWE legend George 'The Animal' Steele dies at age 79 from kidney failure after 'months of hospice care' Wrestling legend George 'The Animal' Steele has died at the age of 79. The WWE Hall of Fame star passed away after suffering from kidney failure. His wife told TMZ he had been in and out of hospice care since April.

Former pro wrestler Nicole Bass dead at 52. Nicole Bass, who parlayed her unique look and fame from the Howard Stern show into a brief pro wrestling career, has died of a heart attack, according to a post by a friend on Bass' Facebook page. She was 52.

Thats a long time to receive hospice care.
