While researching some info on Las Vegas vacations and places to stay, a second vacation question arose.

What are the most beautiful beaches in the US? Any recommendations or wish lists of places to go?

Tropical locations ideal, with beautiful sand beaches and good overal vibe.

From my last posts, it's apparent this board actually has a wealth of knowledge on destinations coming from various parts on the map.

Bodybuilding related due to the ability to relax from all the hard training while enjoying the beaches

Key Largo - most laid back, tranquil

Marathon - best beach setting

I'm from Canada, and have been to St. Pete beach and Clearwater beach in FL several times, and really enjoy it there.

I used to live in Florida..........any beach was awesome.

Clearwater Beach is enormous. Great white sand beaches - was listed as the top travel destination in the US on some of the sites listed in 2017

Agreed

Noticed that the majority of the questions was asking about tropical pools, and good beach like vibes - then realized - why not look at the best beaches at the same time and see which one is better fit?

The Florida Keys look much like the Bahamas/Carribean. Are they similar vibe?

What is the deal with alligators and crocodiles over there?

Siesta Key in Sarasota hands down is the best beach. Also, try St. Augustine Beach.

Where is there a blue water beach in Key West? They have the worst beach I have ever been too.

I completely agree except for Sandestin on the panhandle. Best beach in Florida IMHO.

South Carolina beaches. Probably the most underrated in the USA. I especially like Isle of Palms and Folly Beach.

The best beach is the beach that you don't have to fly to nor drive to nor even walk to.

A beach that you can fall onto upon leaving your front door.

This is the house in Lanikai Hawaii where Sun Star lived for a good number of years and this is the beach where a good number of Weider magazine photos were taken by Sun.

And the ocean between the beach and the small islands is where I didn't go swimming to damn much due to the sharks that were somewhat common.

But that bigger island in the background had a high cliff that let you do some pretty serious diving/jumping into Hawaii's deep blue sea.

No such thing as a Private Beach in Hawaii but Sun's house was the only one on it so it was as close to private as humanly possible. The house to the left had a very small beach of its own but it was very small.

Probably the nicest beach that my two feet have ever stepped on and they have stepped on many thoughout the world.

The Florida keys vibe is awesome.very laid back and relaxing.Im trying to remember the name of the beach that I liked the most but having a hard time at the moment.Rest beach is nice,dog beach also nice also Anne's beach when I was there was a lot of nude people.

South Beach, Miami, Florida is an outstanding beach. Great sand, wide beach, clear water, and the best people watching you will ever get anywhere in the world.
