To be fair, for most of his career he was a character actor, more of an "oh, that dude" type. Through the 2000's most of his time was taken up by the HBO series "Big Love", which ran 5 or 6 seasons. and he had a nice short run in the historical drama "Hatfields and McCoys" on The History channel.
