Edible Marijuana vs. Opiates

I went with a buddy of mine to a dispensary.  Bought all sorts of edibles.  I've been trying them and don't like the high you get.  It's very inconsistent, the high comes and goes which seems to cause some anxiety.  With opiates I take a pill, it hits me and stays with me but the edibles are too inconsistent.  Anyone else takes in MJ edibles?

The timing is highly dependent on factors affecting your digestion (empty stomach, full, fats, ect..). My big issue with the edibles is that you are high for like 5 hours on em'.

Edibles are fucking awesome.Best sleep of my life and a great mood.They kick in for me around 1.5 hours and crank for 3 hours then come down.I just love them for great sleep.only drug I will touch nowadays.

Hahahah been there many times,stick with companies like hubb and conspiracy confections and you won't have that problem,very consistent.when I used other companies I'd take a gummy and have to go for a walk cause it was to intense and I would end up walking for 5-6 hours to calm down.Now with these companies it is perfect every time and I sleep like a baby with no anxiety.

Agreed.  Although I have no pain.  Marijuana basically puts me in a state of psychosis - I would go so far as to say requiring hospitalization.  I have no constitution for marijuana.

As for opiates...wait, you have some?    Are you in Canada?  Can you PM me?

But in all seriousness, opiates are the only family of drug I have the constitution for.  I love opiates and would like to incorporate them into my life.  This is something I have been speaking about with the people closest to me.  I don't want to go on hating the planet, and it's not fair that I have no vice while everyone else is drunk off their tree day in and day out.

That's what Joe Rogan said.

I tried CBD in some edible THC gummy bears, but it was hard to discern the effect of the CBD as it was in a recipe containing THC.  THC makes me extremely paranoid.  CBD seemed to have a strong body effect.

I despise the psychoactive effects of marijuana.  I hate it.  Using two grams of very good magic mushrooms made me think I was in hell.  Opiates are heavenly.  Perhaps CBD is somewhere in between THC and opiates, but closer to opiates.

Yeah opiates are horrible and very dangerous and addictive,edibles are safe and fun.

Actually, they are similar, in a sense. Weed/thc is a dissociative, far as i know.

Ketamine (&.pcp) is also a dissociative/anagesic used in surgery.

Laymans terms = it "dissociates" you from reality.

Full disclosure: I'm not a "weed guy", or a fan of weed. Never enjoyed its effects

A tiny hit for me is all I can take. Or I have to mix it with benzos actually a pretty nice combo. Back in my partying days I would snort oxies get shit faced smoke weed take benzos im lucky I didn't die. Fucking weed had the strongest effect out of everything. If you have anxious tendencies like me forget it.

I used to feel the same,I'm very anxious and if I took a hit I would be geeked for hours.Then I got into edibles and no more anxiety or paranoia.I was always a light weight and one hit would smoke me.Now I just take a 10 mg edible and feel wonderful with no anxiety,paranoia etc... just sleep like a baby and feel great next morning.

That's what I found. Would roller coaster. Face would feel numb then anxiety hits then a feeling of warmth and a buzz then anxiety on and on. Like my body was processing the thc in spurts. It takes a while to hit. I had a candy and forgot about it and over an hour later I'm buzzing.
