His training philosophy and outlook needs to be discussed more. Ironically, his "stimulate don't annihilate" training style is emulated by Phil Heath, and he gets criticized for it.

You don't see 3 tall guys standing side by side on an Olympia stage like you did in that pic. You have Haney at 5'11", Mike Christian at 6'1" and Berry Demey at 6'0"-6'1" and all of them under 250 pounds. Even Rich Gaspari was holding his own at 5'8"-5'9" (on the tall side compared to todays pros).

Take a look at Dallas, then take a look at Haney, and Ashley. Some bodybuilders do have a small abdominal split. But Dallas has what's akin to continental drift.

many things standout in the 70/80's and part 90's guys its the slenderish but well defined shaped legs with calves that made the illusion of the great v torso's many of the past guys had that gave that 'classic'bbing look that's gone today,even the 'big'guys had that look haney's/Christians,ect 240 plus no gut.great abs great llok,today these guys 5'10 5'9 ish 260 plus look like thick .shapeless dough,not all but more than there should,all have overdone delts/small chests/bulbous no cut legs/esp relaxed.shame...

So you accept some people are just born this way - cool.  So is your position that Dallas has made his condition worse in some way - GH or something?  If it's that, and the majority of Pros are hitting that same stuff, how come we're not seeing this all over the place?  Or is the implication that Dallas is somehow taking massively more than all Pros?  Serious question - appreciate your answer pls.

Around here that's known as the "athletic" look. That was a good...no, great look. You could wear regular clother and look great to incredible. Today, they look like morons in regular clothes. Legs way too big, chafing thighs, big tshirts, baggy pants. It's a fucking mess.
