Dallas is better than Cedric, agree?

Dallas is bigger, but less aesthetic and has this distracting gap in the abs, which will keep hurting his beauty contestant career. It's much worse than Coleman's case.

Anyone know what causes that weird gap in the abs? Is it just that the stomach being distended causes the abdominal wall to stretch out and the rows of abs to move apart from each other? I'm sure it's somewhat genetic because a lot of guys have a gap in their abs when they are just starting out but it just seems to get worse as they get bigger. Then there are plenty of guys with huge guts who don't have this problem at all.

I can't say for certain the exact cause but it's some form of Palumboism. What is most likely to happen is that it will keep splitting and he'll end up with abs that disappear completely. Like they'll split so wide that it will look like he has no abs at all. idk

I thought everyone showed up in really good shape. Cedric and Dallas both looked good. The ab thing is genetic.

What's the big deal about the abs? It is being blown out of proportion. Dallas' calves make up for it in spades. I liked Cedric's speech (minus the dry humping) and he also said respect and appreciate the diversity of physiques on the stage. And he is right. Everyone has something different to offer.

I think Dallas did great and did improve the detail in his back - contrary to all those that claimed it would be impossible for him to do.

Cedric deserved the win but Dallas has not peaked yet. I think he needed a little more detail / separation in his quads (or maybe he forgot to flex them 100% in a few poses) and his back can improve more. And he needs to really control his gut in relaxed poses / transitions. But he certainly did his homework and came in looking impressive and deserved second place. Dallas was easily the biggest guy onstage and certainly bigger than Cedric. He is also the strongest of them all.

I won't say that DALLAS is better and I thoroughly agree with the judges' decision regarding 1,2,3 ..... but it's possible that DALLAS will be the man to beat within the next few year.

He's only 25 which gives him a few good years to grow and despite his 'weaknesses' as witnessed by numerous GetBig enthusiasts, most of which are pretty damn valid in my opinion ..... you have to remember that any bodybuilding contest is simply a matter of comparing each of the contestants in that lineup with every other contestant in that lineup.

And that simply means that there is actually no set standard that a winner has to meet in order to take home the title.

That's obvious  but often overlooked when we attempt to forecast the results of future events.

A few weeks back most of us were 'downgrading' Dallas simply because he looked bad with only 21 days or so to look better; but he did manage to pull it all together well enough to be the first place loser even though many of us felt that he shouldn't even  enter.

Five years from now we may all be singing a different tune by praising Dallas and not by burying him.

The Ides of March predict a long and successful career.
