haye had lost 5 rounds on the trot , been knocked down 3 or 4 times in the 6th and had just climbed back into the ring after being knocked out of it when the towel came in, all the while dragging his injured leg around behind him.

if wee man's son wasn't such a pussy he would have given haye 1 round to see if the injury would fade a bit and then called it off or let him finish the 12. bellew wasn't going to finish him as he shot his load and he'd just done 5 rounds with the injury anyway.

Yeh I'm sure actorn Achilles would have 'faded' a bit.... He had to walk o his heel for 5 or 6 rounds, every punch he through was an arm punch as he couldnt put any power in, bellew had an immobile almost defenceless man in front of him and couldnt knock him out...

I'm assuming haye was looking for big punch in 1st few rounds before his Achilles gave way completely, that's why he was loading up... He looked very sloppy and slow in any case

I mean I would have gave him a round just in case it turned out it was just a niggle and then called it off once it was apparent that it was a torn Achilles. it was stupid letting him fight for so long as it probably made the problem much worse in the long term. as his corner let him fight on they should have just let him get to the 12th. Bellew was gassed and he's a powder puff puncher at that weight (+ apparently he broke his hand). The knockdown through the ropes was more a balance issue and he got back up with ease despite being half crippled.

There's a few good fights to be made at heavy, aj v klit, bum squad v parker... Winner or both to meet each other, you also have fury and old man Ortiz in the mix too..

Its promoters like delahoya that are killing boxing, the best should fight the best... Ggg should have fought canelo ages ago
