Where do you live? It's 2 in the morning here in Columbus, Ohio, USA and I need to get to bed.

Texas.  It's 1:17.  I don't set an alarm, and I don't always do it.  When I do eat, it's b/c my body wakes me up to.

Yes and it sucks, but usually I just say fk it and go back to sleep.  After a leg or back workout there is no way, I wake up starving to death.

The interruption of sleep isn't worth it.  Use slower proteins at bedtime.  And, if you're prone to pissing late night anyway, keep a shake on your nightstand.  Sleep can't be overrated.

One of my training partners used to get up every three hours and make a tuna milkshake and drink it down before going back to bed. He eventually started smelling like a fish and his wife had to move to the second bedroom just so she could get a good night's sleep.

It didn't take him too long to change that diet, but it did work for him and he good shreaded to the max.

Also, there used to be a bodybuilder in the early days of Venice Beach who ate nothing but tuna fish that he dried out by twisting it in a nylon stocking until it was thoroughly dry of all the oils and moisture. I reminded me of sawdust with a distinctive odor.

I can't remember if he ate anything else but I kind of recall honey and bee pollen which was pretty popular back then.

I did it for a litle while when I used to work nightshifts and I would get up at lunchtime to have a protein shake. Found it was counterproductive as I jst got fat and very tired. Getting at least eight hours of uninterrupted sleep is far better than getting up to eat half way through.

Actually it's more excessive energy to burn which turns to waste and therefore gives you no benifit which it why it's only usefull to take in up to 2 grams of protein per pound of bodyweight.

Okay "Fang," what a name, oh brother, hahahahahaha. ::)

To answer the original question, I only wake up to eat if my stomach starts growling and wakes me up.

Is that how you stay so lean?

Seriously though, judging by your pic w/Jay, you have some potential.......when you decide to start lifting! LOL
