Not only that, looked at the camera directly and, asked about CIA's actions in the USA, said that it was "illegal" for the CIA to act on American soil. In other words "yes, we are carrying out illegal operations in US soil, and we know they are illegal, and that's why the CIA sent an ex-deputy director to do the talking, because it's ILLEGAL".

Ah, and of course, as usual, the interviewer posed the following incredibly hard to answer questions that put this tool on the spot:
