While I surely don't know if it will stop the terrorist actions, I think it may be the one thing that hasn't been tried. Of course it would mean that we have to let Israel fight their own battles.

The problem is that Muslims hate Jews and if we support the Jewish state, then the muslims will support destroying those that support the Jewish state.

If that remains constant, then the only thing to do is destroy those that wish to destroy us.

All I know is I started watching Homeland from the beginning season and it's a great show.

I don't think we need to ask liberals about terror as Trump seems to be handling things and doing everything in his power to protect the country and make sure Americans feel safe.  CIA now can carry out drone attacks and he's increased screening procedures and getting more CBP boots on the ground - that's in his 50 first days in office!

Your post outlines where liberals lose me on many social issues.

Here's a rather isolated extreme example that illustrates the point well.

In the NYC Public schools they have various "charter schools" with a certain mission statement .
Some are for high school kids going into everything from Heat/ AC to  Health care.
That sounds like a sensible concept and many high school students get a jump start on their career path.

In recent years, this concept has been expanded to include charter schools dealing with social/cultural issues.
They have an LGBT academy for gay, bi and transgender high school students.
It's called the Harvey Milk School .

On the surface, it appears to promote tolerance for those with different sexual preferences.
BUT, I don't see it that way.

Nope, I see it as form of segregation. At this school they isolate LGBT students from a typical mainstream population. Obviously they claim these "different" students , need to be nurtured in a safe environment, free from ridicule or judgment. They need to feel free to explore their feelings and discover who they are. Ok?

C'mon, most kids grow up dealing with all kinds of "growing pains". Plus, if they didn't think they were different before the Harvey Milk school, they sure will after they enroll. Nothing says, "I'm really different" ,like attending a separate school for odd balls.

Plus, this is hardly a separate but equal concept.
I'd bet $$, you couldn't have a charter school for heterosexual, white, protestant students.
No, they'd call that racist and homophobic.
