I think it was only the "forums" part of GetBig.com that went down because the other parts of GetBig seemed to be functioning OK.

My suggestion to RON, in an effort to avoid a GetBig Members Panic/Catastrophe, would be to give everyone official notice about the problem on one of the other "pages" which remain on line when the forums part fails to function.

Maybe even reserve that "page" as the emergency channel.

Seems simple enough but it might be more complicated than I imagine.

I'm pretty dumb at imagining.
