Sketchy arms in today's professional scene
« on: March 15, 2017, 04:59:18 PM »
This is just gossip and opinions doesn't mean the arms ARE dodgy.
During the 80s biceps looked hard and you could see the fibers.
Split biceps, detail near the armpits.

You know the look, water logged, lack of separation, lack of visible muscle fibers. I don't think this is just an issue of conditioning. Everyone trying to catch up with one another with Phil at the top?  Except Phil is blessed with monstrous arms and doesn't need big site injections in the arms. He might but it doesn't look like it.

My guess is 5mL shots to keep them up that level. Not year round. Not all the time.

One guy I can think of, tall, when he hits side chest theres no separation whatsoever. Olympia level...

I agree.  A lot of the arms today look like bags filled with jello.  I would guess the insulin use has something to do with this "over inflated" look and guy's getting much heavier than they should.

i see a lot of biceps that are not in proportion considering how small a muscle group that is.

suspicious triceps, not so much, rich piana and back in the day ernie taylor comes to mind.

Except for Phil Heath's chest. He fills it with oil and it's still not impressive at all.

Arms are higher priority now than they were in the past. Back in the day chest was more emphasised, and now chest is an afterthought. Balance is not priority in lieu of freakiness. I posted these pics yesterday and noticed how weak everyone's chest was:
