This wasn't an isolated incident. I would estimate that Ric could have done well over 100 gay porn videos....most of them would have been for private collections for the wealthy. There's no telling. The reason its so hard to locate is because they went by porn names.....Ken Sprague for example went by Dakota. In addition, they filmed a number of Village People Blue Oyster exhibitions where they were wearing spiked dog collars and leather masks.
These videos were only released because the collector likely passed away and the estates are secretly selling the videos for profit. Not to defend Ric but he was likely blackmailed into doing the videos which was quite common back then and still today.
Guys this is accurate. I just spoke to Ric and after a long discussion he said he was black mailed against his will to do these videos. He said he got involved with some very dangerous people and the only way out was to film these "videos of debauchery and derangement" (his words).
He has held this shame for years and was often tormented and abused by the video owners who threatened to release the tapes if he didnt preform as requested (meaning he was black mailed into even more henious activities) , this even took place as recently as 2015.
He did say it wasn't completely one sided as the abuser helped set up his youtube page and provided him with his video camera and interview table. He also explained how he had a very good friendship with the unnamed collector and he's not sure how he will carry on without him.
He's now afraid with the recent passing of the video owners he will lose the popularity he has garnered on social media.
I told him this sounds like Stockholm syndrome and he agreed ( this was after explaining what s.s. is). He then said he wasn't even aware of how badly he was taken advantage of.
The conversation was very eye opening for Ric.
Despite all this he is actually relieved this is over and it feels like he has been set free.
