How many threads on Kaepernick is Coach going to make?
His lame protest wouldn't have got any attention if people like Coach didn't make an issue out of it. So he doesn't want to stand for the anthem? Who gives a fuck? Just ignore him and get on with the game.

If he saved his money and invested wisely, he will be fine. The key term being "IF."

Checks his pigmentation.

LOOK: Susan Sarandon joins more than 1,000 at Kaepernick rally at NFL offices
CBS Sports ^ | August 24, 2017 | Will Brinson
Posted on 8/24/2017, 11:40:37 AM

The fury surrounding the employment status of Colin Kaepernick has been taken to a new level, reaching full-blown froth on Wednesday night in the form of a rally at NFL headquarters attended by thousands to protest Kaepernick being unsigned by a team.

[Snip]

According to Tim Rohan of TheMMQB.com, the group of activists who organized the rally -- The People's Consortium for Human and Civil Rights, led by president Reverend Stephen Green -- had three demands of the NFL.

That the NFL institute a policy to protect players' rights to have freedom of speech, so they can kneel, raise a fist or express opinions on social issues, if they wish.

That the NFL establish a review board to, Green says, "examine issues of social injustice." As Tamika Mallory, a social activist and co-organizer of the 2017 Women's March, put it in her speech, "The NFL, just like the NYPD, cannot police itself. Any organization that is only being looked at from within is a failing organization. There must be a unit of people internally and externally that look at racial and cultural sensitivity issues within the NFL."
And that the NFL develop some sort of program to "reinvest into the communities in which they serve, where there are high rates of unemployment, high rates of mass incarceration. To re-invest those funds into the community," Green says.
Typically speaking, the noise surrounding an issue like this dies out once the games start being played. But this is not a typical situation: Kap doesn't have a job, which means with each week that passes and each horrific quarterback performance that we watch unfold, the noise could get louder.

It's time to stop watching the NFL guys.  Just ignore it.  I suppose sports are an important part of society as competition can be good, but way too many people are obsessed with them.  A grown man wearing a jersey with another mans name isnt exactly alpha behavior.  Do something else with your Sundays coach!

No, he must be castrated and flogged for this behavior, which in turn should send a message to others of vineegar disposition that such behavior is not accepted.

Don't blame the NFL execs - everybody hates this guy. They let Vick play because he had some talent left to profit from. This guy obviously doesn't.

Pro afletes kneed to be dick-punched back to the reality of working for a living.  I quit viewing their shit decades ago.  Now I don't even watch the Olympics (or the SchmOlympia for that matter) because that's more drugged up "professionals".

Whiny bitches the lot of 'em.  ESPN and Disney Inc. can go the way of the Dodo for all I care. Kraepernick and his ilk can fester in hell. If there's a hell, it's for assclowns like him and worse.

Thanks in advance...

What exactly are they "rallying" against?
The fact that nobody wants to hire the unskilled, talentless fuck?

How is that the NFL's fault?

They're rallying against police disproportionately arresting the demographic that commits an insanely disproportionate amount of the crime.

https://www.acsh.org/news/2017/08/10/african-american-homicide-rate-nearly-quadruple-national-average-11680

The CDC confirms that, following an extended period of general decline, the overall homicide rate -- as well as the homicide rate within each racial group -- has increased from 2014 to 2015. In 2015, the homicide rates were (per 100,000 population):

20.9 for blacks (non-Hispanic)

4.9 for Hispanics

2.6 for whites (non-Hispanic)

I see. I thought it was more focussed on Kaepernick "individually."
I mean, the poor guy was "oppressed" making millions playing a kid's game for all those years.

My heart goes out to him.
Maybe I will attend the next rally.
