You have got it all wrong here. Maybe your being gay makes you think that 'normal' (heterosexual) guys have sub-concious (knowingly or unknowingly) 'desires' to see scantily clad guys pose (bodybuilding) or fight (wrestling etc) to feed an unacknowledged need or something like that. Not at all. Someone once said we are in contact with only our own mind/conciousness and thus, think others think like us or have similar patterns of perception etc. But this is hardly the case. That is why, people sometimes find it hard to understand other people's opinion, especially if its opposed to their own.

To take the above case for example (and judging from your past posts) - you often say that bodybuilding consists of nearly naked, muscular men in thongs all oiled up and shaved down and posing for an audience consisting mostly of cheering men. That doesnt necessarily mean any or all of the guys in the audience or the bodybuilder(s) are gay (though in reality, there probably are a few). You see the audience cheering the bodybuilders and seem to conclude its because they are.

I myself am straight - always have and always will be (If I was gay or even bisexual, i would admit it, since no one knows me here + no one cares in this day and age). I have been following bodybuilding for years now. I buy magazines and even training / competition videos and watch them before going to the gym to psych myself up. And I can say in all honesty (as i'm sure can a lot of other guys here) that I have NEVER experienced any arousal at all when I go through the mags or watch a video. And I'm old enough to know when I'm aroused - happens all the time and ALWAYS can be attributed to a female(s).

Because you are gay and you look at guys (in your case, due to the nature of your taste - bodybuilders), you seem to think other guys looking at bodybuilders have similar feelings. NOT AT ALL. When I look at a bodybuilder, i am looking at his body and the focus /fixation is purely on the body (and nothing else). BUT that DOES NOT mean i'm gay or getting aroused. What I get out of seeing a bodybuilders body is motivation and sometimes envy. It helps me get to my goal in a way. When you are exhausted during your workout or in a lot of pain, the image of a bodybuilder you are a fan of definitely helps you go the extra step/mile.

In other words, straight guys looking at bodybuilders is no different than gay guys in the fashion industry looking at female models. We've all seen gay guys make a huge fuss over the way a girl looks (often, they pick up details that the model herself misses). But just because his primary purpose of being there is to solely look / judge / think about the looks of a woman(s body) doesnt mean he has an unacknowledged / innate tendency to want to bone her.

Now, what possible incentive would have I have out anyone?  More than 10 different guys on this board who regularly post here have “come out” to me in either private messages or email.  They feel comfortable doing so because I have a track record of discretion.  Even one of the homophobes here has come out to me. ;)

When I lived in New England, I dated a guy in Connecticut who dated a WWE wrestler.  Through him I met that wrestler and a number of other gay wrestlers.  When I lived in California, I dated a few actors you would certainly know by name or sight.  Again, through them I met a number of other well known personalities.  Some people get a thrill from outing those in the closet; I am not one of those people.  I respect the fact that for a variety of reasons, not everyone can be public about their sexual orientation.  If I start outing people, I get kicked out of the gay mafia and that would be shooting myself in the foot.

Now, if someone has a publicly available website identifying themselves as an escort bi, or gay, I have no qualms about directing people to that site or mentioning what I saw on the site even if that site is no longer in operation. Similarly, if a guy is dead, I have no hesitation telling the truth about what I know.  I have a problem stating the obvious, or repeating what someone has said about himself publicly.  People can judge the veracity of my comments by the history of my posts.

I know you want names so here's a bone for you:  I won’t call him gay, since many of you seem to have trouble understanding what that word really means, but Kerry Von Eric routinely had relationships with men.

I never had the chance to play with him as he was dating someone I knew when I met him.  :(

:-X  Why must you always insert the fact that you're gay.  We know and save the details for some other board.  You don't see hetro's claiming in every post how much of a lady's man they are, do you?  Enough already.

no, not really. Maybe king kong bundy. But I also don't write a 2000 word diatribe on how I don't get turned on by men either.

So a gay guy can write (over and over) a 2000 word diatribe on how he gets turned on by men but a straight guy can't about him not getting turned on  ::). That's a pretty gay thing to say mate  :D

Who the f**k is Kerry Von Eric? Never heard of him.

You want to talk about wrestling and you don’t know who the von Erics are?  You just lost the credibility needed to keep this dialogue going.   :-\  Your name is well chosen; you are more “absent” than present.  Farewell.

Does anyone have Kurt Angle's Arm training secrets  ;D

The funniest thing is when he spreads out those arms and screams before taking on someone like Mark Henry. Reminds me of the time I saw a little kid run into a brickwall

Yes and of course him having a gold medal in wrestling makes it even funnier. Of course, a puny man such as Angle cannot win from "The World's Strongest Man" (who incidentally finished dead last in the 1996 olympic weightlifting competition)
